The fabulous Miss Vanessa has just announced the date for this year's Virtual Mad Tea Party! I am so excited because I didn't discover her wonderful blog until after it had already happened last year. I can't wait to join in the fun and you can too, just check it out here!

Coco!
Last night I went to Eugene and saw Conan at the first show of his tour! It was amazing, so much fun. I was so sad when Conan had his show taken away and I couldn't watch him on TV anymore, so seeing him do his thing in person was just plain awesome. Also, he is set to have a new show on TBS starting in the fall, so he will be back. Some of my friends were there, and Mister B. but none of us were sitting together. Mister B. had a really good (but expensive) seat toward the front, so he had a great view which is good because he loves Coco even more than I do! Good times were had by all. Thanks Conan.

Tucson Flora and Fauna
Just a few more pics from my trip to Tucson. I just can't resist animals and flowers.
The first ones were taken at a golf course while golfing. From the flowers down were taken at Tohono Chul.

Easter Things
I made bunny pancakes on Easter. Well they were supposed to be bunny pancakes, I am not a pancake artist or anything. I think they are fairly recognizable...right?
I decorated the table with Easter candy.
The dinosaurs are courtesy of Mister B. I think they look quite cute as part of a centerpiece!
And what is Easter without a chocolate bunny?
I don't usually do much for Easter, but making brunch was fun!

Easter/Sunday
Peering out the window, what's that I see? Someone is down on the lawn below our apartment balcony.
I think a certain long eared gent has come to town...
to wish us a happy Easter! (And he told me to pass the wishes along to you too!) Now I am off to make Easter pancakes which will hopefully be shaped like bunnies, but more likely shaped like blobs.

Food Glorious Food
When looking at my pictures from my trip to Tucson, two themes seem to emerge. Food and animals. You see we didn't really DO much except go out to eat, play golf and mini golf, and hang out. It was very relaxing, but I found myself with not too many interesting things to take pictures of. Since food was a main feature if our trip, it also takes up many of my photos, so today will be food and drink themed, yay! (I mean who doesn't love food)
Here is a little scenery from Margaritaville I couldn't resist. I do love me some JB!
First up, a yummy melon margarita at Margaritaville! (Which is in Phoenix, not Tucson, we went after we flew in) I did have dinner too, a pulled pork sandwich, but it was so delicious I forgot to take a picture because I was too busy eating it!

Next up we have the enormous nachos at Nimbus. I don't think the angle does this photo justice, these are literally the biggest nachos I have ever had, and so so good!
Then we went to El Charro for happy hour where I had an amazing prickly pear margarita, (on the right) I always like to try new margaritas! There was also a beautiful sangria (at the top). Hmm I seem to have forgotten to take a picture of the food again, whoops! Maybe this post is really more about drinks after all...
Last, but not least I have pictures from breakfast and tea at Tohono Chul. Our table was right next to a big lemon tree, I wish I had one of those! I had tea, a scone with jam and devonshire cream, and a biscuit with sausage gravy. Oh and fruit!
Well that is the extent of my food pictures, but we have a series of restaurants we always have to eat at when we are in Tucson, so we also went to Bison Witches, Frog & Firkin, 1702 (which has the best pizza and is right near the Library Science building, yay!), and this time tried Lindy's which we had never been to before, but it was delicious. I had a burger with macaroni and cheese on it and gravy fries. If you are ever down there, these places are must go to!
