I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I know I had a lovely weekend. Since Mister B and I just moved to Arizona, this was our first Thanksgiving all by our lonesomes without our families to stuff us full of yummy food. We didn't want to take on a full Thanksgiving dinner, so we decided to do something Mister B has been dreaming about for ages....make a Thanksgiving pizza! That's right folks, you heard correctly, I said pizza. Basically it was a pizza crust with gravy instead of red sauce, mashed potatoes instead of cheese, and turkey and stuffing sprinkled on as toppings.
I know it looks a bit strange, but it was delicious! Then using the left over turkey (we cooked a breast not a whole bird) I made turkey and potato eggs for breakfast and a yummy turkey salad sandwich for dinner tonight (mixed the turkey with mayo, mustard, salt, pepper, and sliced apples, and ate it on a bagel), sigh....I love holiday food.
It also is getting a little cooler here, especially at night, so we have been having a fire and it is super cozy.
And it has been cloudy and today it even rained (a rare occurrence here) and there were amazing rainbows...
Oh yes, it was a good holiday indeed. Even the cats have been extra cozy.

Halloween?
Um so it is almost Thanksgiving and I am just now posting about Halloween! Oh well. It was a fun holiday. On Saturday I went to a costume party and then went out with some friends. On Sunday I stayed home with candy just in case any trick-or-treaters came (they didn't) and watched Halloween movies (in full costume). My costume this year was a werewolf Little Red Riding Hood. Kind of like a combo between Little Red and the Big Bad Wolf. I had an awesome corset with hood made by the fabulous Damsel in this dress (who ps. is having big Black Friday sales, so if you are in the mood for an awesome corset, head on over!), and fangs and a handmade (by me) tail and furry arm warmers. Oh I also had one of those jack-o-lantern shaped pizzas! Here are some pictures from Sunday.
I hope everyone else had a great Halloween too, and have a yummy Thanksgiving tomorrow!

Hello!
Hello blogland friends! I am finally back, well mostly. I am still super busy since it is getting towards the end of the semester so I have a lot going on for my classes, but I decided to just do short posts so I won't feel too overwhelemed. So for this first short post I wanted to share all the lovely things I got in the Samhain Swap hosted by Serendipity. My partner was Tammy from Red Panty Crafts and here are all the awesome things she sent me:
Thank you so much Tammy I love everything!!
Well that's it for now. I have lots more bits and pieces to share, but like I said, one small post at a time!
Oh one last thing before I go. Island Tea Company is currently having their Online Holiday Open House, with specials, discounts, and free goodies, so check it out!

Yikes!
Whoa it seems like it has been so long since I really posted, whoops! I don't know what happened, ever since Halloween things have just been hectic and blogging has gone down the priority list a ways. (To be fair, before Halloween I did so much in blogland that it might have something to do with being a bit tuckered out). I mean I haven't even changed my background from Halloween. But I don't want to miss out too much so I promise I will have more real posts soon! Stay tuned....
