New House Tidbits: Our "Yard"

So one of the great things about our new house is there is a ton of planting space. Flowers, and veggies, and trees, hooray! There is also a large "yard" space which was obviously once lawn (the strategically placed sprinklers give it away). However, lawns and Southern Arizona don't go so well together, so now it is just a whole lotta dust.

Thanksgiving

This year Mister B's parents were in town for Thanksgiving (they live here, but are generally gone this time of year), so we had a full out Thanksgiving instead of our traditional Thanksgiving pizza (which I am pretty sure I have talked about in past blog posts, but you are likely to see it here around Christmas this year I think). That meant that his parents made all the major components, turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, and I got to contribute whatever I wanted. And what I wanted was sweet potato pie and buttermilk biscuits.

Tea Party And Oktoberfest

Well as usual I slacked off and didn't get a post up before I went on my trip this last weekend and then when I got back I got sick and so have been out for a few days. Anyhoo, here is some stuff that I wanted to post before I left. I don't have many pictures of the trip, they are mostly of the concert, but I can post some of those later if anyone is interested.

Birthday Part II And Other Things

This might not be as funny to everyone else, but when I flip through all these pictures in a row in my viewer (I don't know how to make it do that on here) it is so silly! Mal is such a cutey.

Well that is just a bit more, but I am still behind. Hopefully I will get another post in before this weekend when I will be gone. I am going to a Jimmy Buffett concert in Vegas! Whoo!
