We're All Mad Here (As Usual)

Welcome little girls, red queens, and the maddest of hatters! This year's annual Fanciful Twist Mad Tea Party is a bit different than usual here at Buccaneers and Ball Gowns.

Normally I throw an actual tea party (partly for the photos and partly because who doesn't want any excuse to throw a tea party?) and then post the pictures here for the blog party.

However, this summer I have a bit of a crazy schedule and the party kind of snuck up on me. So I am just going to post this as a rain check for an actual tea party. Come on over any time and I will throw one for you!

Who knows....maybe that elusive white fellow with the big ears will even show up.

Cheers!

*Edit: Several people have commented on the mask. I actually had it made for a masquerade party by this awesome seller on etsy!

ps. The lovely tea set in these photos was recently given to me by one of my mother-in-law's best friends. She bought it years ago in England and thought it was time to pass it on. Knowing my love of tea she decided to give it to me, isn't that sweet?! (There are actually a lot more pieces to it than shown here).

  18. Here, here! I read your bio and I quite agree. It is taxing with so many interests to commit to just one thing would be positively boring. Yes, I accept your rain check. We shall tea another time. TTFN.

  21. I too had one of those White Rabbit Moments when it came to Creating a Tea Party and the Post for it in time to join in! But, when you're Mad as a Hatter, you don't hardly ever do things in a Normal Orderly way do you? *winks* So I Hosted mine well past Midnight with faux food and the lot! Not quite the same as REAL FOOD but we're in Wonderland so it Worked for the Purposes intended. *smiles* I've Enjoyed taking a tumble down your Rabbit Hole... Blessings from the Arizona Desert...
